"Job Well Done..."
Just a note to tell you how pleased I am
with my USPraxis PRX50 stump grinder with the 5hp Honda
engine.
I bought this smaller model stump grinder last summer
because I live on a steep hill, and the lighter the better
for me. However, I have many stumps to remove from trees
that were 50 to 75 years old when they were cut. So I needed
a stump grinder that can handle big stumps.
Well, my little PRX50 is a giant killer.
The Honda started with the first pull when I got it off the
delivery truck and filled it with gasoline, and has started
with the first pull ever since.
The frame and other components of the Praxis are made from
very heavy gauge steel and other relevant materials which
are fully able to hold up against the large stumps I'm
having to grind.
I just wanted to give you guys a "pat on the back" for a job
well done! It has lived up to all my hopes.

"Finally there is a 5" chipper that can
fit through a 36" gate. We have waited for this moment
for a long time. So far, we have rented the Praxis chipper
for about 5 months now, and not once has there been an issue
with the unit. For those who rent chippers, that kind of a
statement is not too commonly heard of. After all, it's just
a rental..." |

The story behind the
purchase of the stump grinder.
"I had a fruit tree
in the yard behind my house which I decided to remove as it
was not bearing much fruit and the roots were growing under
the foundations of the house. Cutting it down was not
a problem as the tree trunk was only 300 millimeters in
diameter. Needless to say, the stump is still in the
yard behind my house and I could not remove it from the back
yard due to space restrictions between the house and fences.
But, in South Africa we have a saying in Afrikaans "'n Boer
maak 'n plan" (We always find a solution, no matter what the
problem), so I found and bought a Stump Grinder from
yourselves with which I now remove tree stumps for other
people, and business is good!"
"The machine I
purchased was your largest model (13hp), but still small
enough to fit through a standard door (by tilting it on it's
side). I am very impressed with the easy handling,
efficiency and the power of the machine. To remove a
tree stump of approx. 500mm takes only 20 to 25 minutes.
I had to sharpen the cutting blades for the first time after
removing about 10 stumps (South Africa is a "dry" Country,
therefore some indigenous trees' wood is very hard), using
the recommended grinding wheel, it was quite easy."

"Just wanted to take a moment and let you know what a
great machine you have. I've owned your 9 h.p. model for a few
years and am extremely please at what that little machine can
accomplish. I've ground stumps that were in excess of 52"
diameter with great success. Your machine allows me to take it
through gates, operate it on slopes, and pick it up and put back in
the truck when the job is finished. The homeowners are always happy
with the finished result.
Thanks again for designing
such a dependable, hard working machine."

"Thanks for the quick delivery! The PRX90 works great.
We have already removed four stumps from the yard. The PRX90 was
large enough to do what I wanted to do."

"Here's the pictures of your
9h.p. grinding a 3 foot stump. No problem at all with your
machine! Stump was almost gone in 2 hours. My
brother and I both use it and love it! What a great
product!"
